While I've been threatening to blog for a long time, nothing has really provided the impetus to set my focus on that oh-so-critical first post. After a few guest posts on various other sites, I decided that creating my own milieu in the blogosphere would be the only way I'd be satisfied with what I post. So, here we go.
A little background for you - I am a software development manager/leader for a large pharmaceutical company. I am still quite hands-on, which is very rewarding but also narrows the scope of what can be accomplished on both sides of the coin. I also teach MIS at a Big East University. That comes with all of its own challenges and rewards, as I'm sure you can imagine.
The types of things you might see from me here: my take on the world of development, solutions to software issues, sardonic accounts of daily life, hypothetical questions with ironically superfluous answers, and most likely general irreverence.
Stick around.
...or don't.
